Alessandria: First Convention Between Notaries and Businessmen

13/07/2010

On 10 June in the Confindustria Convention Hall in Alessandria a meeting was held on the subject of “Networking”. This was organized by the Notarial Council of the United Districts of Alessandria, Acqui Terme and Tortona and Confindustria Alessandria's Small Businesses Committee to study the question of network-based contracts as an alternative tool for small and medium businesses in dealing with banks, approaching new markets and undertaking research and innovation.

The issue addressed is one of the main points of the Agreement already signed at a national level in October 2009 between Confindustria's Small Businesses Committee and the National Council of Notaries, implemented in Alessandria on 8 June last by Tiziano Maino, President of Confindustria's Small Businesses Committee in Alessandria and by Luigi Oneto, President of the Notarial Council of the United Districts of Alessandria, Acqui Terme and Tortona.

The Agreement commits the parties to promote working groups to identify proposals or changes to Regional and local regulations in order to render them more consistent with the activities of small and medium businesses; the work of these territorial groupings will also aim to publicise the techniques and advantages of using the information technologies the notarial system makes available to businesses for the updating and safekeeping of legal documents, company accounting records and annual reports.

During the convention, which is the first of a series of three meetings on the subject of company networking promoted by Confindustria's Small Businesses Committee in Alessandria in collaboration with the Cassa di Risparmio di Alessandria and the Notarial Council of the United Districts of Alessandria, Acqui Terme and Tortona, the President of the Notarial Council of Alessandria addressed the question of network contracts from the legal and administrative point of view.
