Computerised notarial documents: new provisions published in the Official Gazette

The Official Gazette of 20 July publishes Legislative Decree no. 110/2010 “Provisions relating to computerised public deeds drawn up by a notary, pursuant to Article 65 of Law no. 69 of 18 June 2009”.
 

This decree, implementing the proxy given to the Government by Law no. 69 of 2009 on questions of notarial law, sets out detailed provisions allowing notaries to draw up public deeds in electronic form and to sign them as well as private contracts using a digital signature.
 

The decree will come into force on 3 August 2010.
