The notarial legislation now in force does not foresee in the preparatory phase obligatory participation in one of the notarial schools recognised and operating in the national territory, based on the respective notarial councils.
However it is clear that participation in such schools helps to acquire a complete and appropriate preparation both for the competition phase and for the future profession itself.
Recently post-university schools of specialisation for the legal professions have been set up based on a closed number, which may be attended by aspiring civil law notareis, magistrates and lawyers.
