Anti-Usury Agreement Between the Antiracket Antimafia Association of Molfetta and Andria and the Notarial Council of Trani

23/03/2011

National

On 19 January 2011 an Agreement was signed between the Antiracket Antimafia Association of Molfetta and the Notarial Council of Trani, setting up a collaboration for the promotion and dissemination of legality in the local area, so as to combat crime linked to usury and racketeering as well as to provide practical assistance to the victims of usury.

The agreement stipulates the availability of free notarial consulting and significant reductions in costs, in particular for the taking out of mortgages, for the victims of usury identified by the Antiracket Association.

Thus, the Agreement brings the notarial sphere closer to the difficult circumstances of the victims of usury that are well known to the Antiracket Association, with the aim of making it clear that the victims of usury are not alone.

Further information is available from the Provincial Antiracket Antimafia Association of Molfetta: presidente@antiracketpuglia.it or the site www.antiracketpuglia.it.

These stories, from times past and present, emerge from the provisions of the last wills and testaments of famous men and women as well as of ordinary people. They make interesting and in some cases even comical reading. Those who choose to give a noble end to their existence through a charitable bequest turn their will into a story of love for their fellow man and send a message of hope to new generations.
