In Brescia on 16 May 2012, at the offices of the Notarial Association for Executive Procedures (ANPE), an agreement was signed marking the birth of “NotarNetwork”, the new network of the notarial associations.
This initiative was presented by the President of the Notarial Council of Brescia, Mario Mistretta, and the President of ANPE, Paolo Cherubini, together with the notaries Pietro Barziza and Bruno Barzellotti as well as Counsellor Marta Mistè, Director of ANPE and co-founder of the project with Notary Cherubini, in the presence of representatives of the 11 participating notarial associations.
The network has been created to offer a single efficient point of reference for the execution of batch procedures for interacting with public bodies in a rapid transparent manner, replicating on a national scale the Notarial Association’s model for executive procedures (ANPE) which has been operating successfully in the Brescia area since 1999. Over the years the latter system has adopted an effective organisational model which received ISO 9001 certification in December 2010.
The creation of “NotarNetwork” means that throughout Italy the same service can be provided with the same procedures and at the same agreed tariffs, thus also benefiting the individual associations which will be constantly able to compare notes, update themselves and communicate amongst themselves on questions of common interest.
This uniform approach brings considerable advantages, given that amongst other things public bodies (municipal councils and tribunals above all) are making ever-increasing demands on the Notarial Council with executory and insolvency procedures that the individual notary, for purely logistical and organisational reasons, has difficulty handling alone.
Access to the network is open to every notarial organisation present in the country irrespective of the subject or the territorial location; in order to assess beforehand the capacity to handle the network’s demands, the associations must however ensure certain minimum requirements.
The point of reference for the network will be the ANPE notarial association in via Ugo La Malfa, Brescia, which in addition to providing the operational model will also be the central location for receiving requests that will then be forwarded to the appropriate territorial location as a function of the executory and insolvency procedures to be carried out.
