Milan, 22 March 2011 – To simplify the workings of small and medium-sized businesses in an attempt to reduce the costs they have to bear: this is the main aim of the agreement signed by the Notarial Council of Milan, which is responsible for Milan, Busto Arsizio, Lodi, Monza and Varese, and the Small Business Committee of Assolombarda.
Under the agreement, joint initiatives are to be undertaken to support the small and medium-sized businesses in the area by way of assistance and consulting provided by notaries, who have traditionally worked alongside businessmen in solving company problems. First of all, beginning in April, an information point will be set up in the offices of Assolombarda in Milan to provide free personalised consulting. Small businesses that are members will receive assistance, in particular, in the choice of the type of company to set up, legal consulting in the case where mortgages are used to raise funds, advice on regulations regarding business continuity and interpretative and innovative solutions regarding specific company laws.
