Vicenza: agreement renewed between notaries and the Province to reduce the cost of home loans



On 18 May 2011, a two-year extension was signed for the agreement between the Notarial Council of the United Districts of Vicenza and Bassano del Grappa and the Province of Vicenza, setting maximum fees according to the value of the mortgage, excluding VAT and out-of-pocket expenses, for home loans using a 20-year summary notarial certificate and for replacement loans for existing mortgages.

Private citizens who visit the Province’s “Home Loan Information Point” for advice and take out a mortgage with the bank will also benefit from particularly low fees for the drawing up of mortgages for first home buyers, whether for purchase of an existing home, construction or restructuring, as well as for replacement of existing mortgages. The choice of professional will be entirely up to the client.
