We are an institution established in Italy and now active in 91 countries around the world. A Notary carries out preventive legality checks, ensuring that every notarial deed abides by the law and the will of the parties. A Notary’s activities are audited by the State, the Tax Authorities and the Ministry of Justice.

Computerised Certified Copies

Today it is possible to request a copy of one’s deed in digital format. A computerised authentic copy, digitally signed by the notary, has the same validity as a true copy on paper, with the advantage that it occupies no physical space, only a few bits.

In this way, in order to receive a certified copy of a deed, a physical visit to the notary’s office will no longer be necessary: the document can be instantly circulated.

A study is also under way to see how to issue electronic execution copies of notarial deeds to be used immediately in an electronic civil lawsuit for the protection of monies owing.
